Oh, East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet, Till Earth and Sky stand presently at God's great Judgment Seat; But there is neither East nor West, Border, nor Breed, nor Birth, When two strong men stand face to face, tho' they come from the ends of the earth!

Who hasn’t heard these Rudyard Kipling’s lines?
But what If the British officer and the mountain people of Pushtun are blood brothers, representatives of one people? And what if this nation is the Jews? However the fact is, the people of Pashtun consider themselves descendents of Lost Ten Tribes of Israel, and until recently did not hide it at all. Meanwhile, some Western researchers suggest that certain peoples of Northwest Europe also derive their roots from the ten Lost Tribes.
By the end of the twentieth century more and more ethnic groups claim heritage from the ancient Israelis, expelled to the Assyrian Empire. Their convincing proofs shock skeptics.
In various points of the Globe, ethnic groups which do not have any apparent connection to Judaism converge to the place of origin of the first monotheistic religion. The promise given to the Jewish people comes true: "Behold, I will open your grave, O My people, and I will bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the Lord when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, O My people. And I will put My spirit in you and ye shall live, and I will bring you in your own land, and ye shall know that I the Lord have spoken and performed, saith the Lord.” (Ezekiel).

Secret of history

vikiTwo Jewish states existed in the present Eretz Israel territory almost three thousand years ago; two Solomon Empire splinters, which became symbols of self-destructive energy of Jewish people. Clamped down by the two great powers of antiquity - Assyria and Egypt, they were involved in exhausting competition with each other. The descendants of Judah and Benjamin, who had created the Kingdom of Judah in the south, against the Kingdom of Israel in the north, formed by the other ten tribes of Reuben, Simeon, Issachar, Zebulon, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Ephraim and Manasseh.
Israel was the first to fall. In 722 B.C. Salmanazar, the King of Assyria, invaded the Northern Empire, and ruined it. The population was exiled to the east of his empire.
Judea avoided capture by miracle. However, a hundred and half years later the Babylon invasion followed. The destruction of the First Temple started a line of infinite sufferings and humiliations of Jews. But the drama of Jewish people is that of only two tribes, of Judah and Benjamin.
The Ten Tribes of the Israeli Kingdom never came back, and this is one of the greatest mysteries of history.
Where are they? Were they dissolved in chaotic whirlpool of history? Did they leave the ruins of Nineveh in search of their ancient land but never reached it? Maybe they stayed in the depths of the boundless Eurasia continent, changing their features and faith?
So, will the Lost Tribes return to the land of their forefathers? Will the Bible prophecies come true? And perhaps, they have already started to come true?

Behind the river Sambation or what prophets speak?

Prophecies say, that in the end of times all Jews will return to the Promised Land - not only "sons of Judah and of Benjamin ", but also descendants of the Israeli Kingdom. They wait for their hour. The Jerusalem Talmud asserts that: "Israel was sent into exile beyond the Sambatyon, which hurl sand and stone from the flaming waters"

On that day, The Lord shall again take it in hand to reclaim the remnant of his people that is left from Assyria and Egypt, Pathros, Ethiopia, and Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and the isles of the sea.
He shall raise a signal to the nations and gather the outcasts of Israel; The dispersed of Judah he shall assemble from the four corners of the earth.
The envy of Ephraim shall pass away, and the rivalry of Judah be removed; Ephraim shall not be jealous of Judah, and Judah shall not be hostile to Ephraim;
But they shall swoop down on the foothills of the Philistines to the west, together they shall plunder the Kedemites; Edom and Moab shall be their possessions, and the Ammonites their subjects.
The LORD shall dry up the tongue of the Sea of Egypt, and wave his hand over the Euphrates in his fierce anger And shatter it into seven streamlets, so that it can be crossed in sandals.
There shall be a highway for the remnant of his people that is left from Assyria, As there was for Israel when he came up from the land of Egypt.
(Isaiah Chapter 11)

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
(Isaiah Chapter 11)

Thus says the LORD: In a time of favor I answer you, on the day of salvation I help you, To restore the land and allot the desolate heritages,
Saying to the prisoners: Come out! To those in darkness: Show yourselves! Along the ways they shall find pasture, on every bare height shall their pastures be.
...See, some shall come from afar, others from the north and the west, and some from the land of Syene.
(Isaiah Chapter 11)

In those days the house of Judah will join the house of Israel, and together they will come from a northern land to the land I gave your forefathers as an inheritance.
(Jeremiah Chapter 3)

I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and of the tribes of Israel associated with him, and I will join to it the stick of Judah, making them a single stick; they shall be one in my hand.
The sticks on which you write you shall hold up before them to see.
Tell them: Thus speaks the Lord GOD: I will take the Israelites from among the nations to which they have come, and gather them from all sides to bring them back to their land.
I will make them one nation upon the land, in the mountains of Israel, and there shall be one prince for them all. Never again shall they be two nations, and never again shall they be divided into two kingdoms.
(Ezekiel Chapter 37)

I will strengthen the house of Judah and save the house of Joseph. ... Then Ephraim shall be valiant men... I will whistle for them to come together, and when I redeem them they will be as numerous as before. ... I will bring them back from the land of Egypt, and gather them from Assyria.
(Zechariah Chapter 10)

Numerous indications on the future returning of the Lost Tribes can be found in the Talmud. According to the Jerusalem Talmud, At least a third of Bnei-Israel (Sons of Israel), are "on the other side of Sambation river" while the land where the others reside is not known. But the time will come, when they reveal themselves.

Yalkut Shimoni (Hebrew: ילקוט שמעוני) (Pirke D’Rabbi Eliezer 17, Psalms 60):
"Said the Lord, I will repay them at the time when I gather Israel from the four corners of the earth, first will the half-tribe of Menashe be gathered” (As we will see, this promise is coming true before our eyes). …And after that Ephraim will be gathered…”.
Well-known Talmudists and Rabbis, including Rabbi Abraham Ben David of Pashkir (Raavad), Rabbi David Kimchi (Radak), Rabbi Moshe Ben Nachman (Ramban), Rabbi Menachem Ben Shlomo (HaMeiri), Rabbi Tuviah Halevi ("Chen Tov”), Rabbi Israel Lifshitz ("Tiferet Israel”) and others, mention the existence of the Lost Tribes.
